CS108: Cell Door - Irish Prison

Complies with the Court Standards and Design Guide 2004, and meets the criteria for maintaining the highest level of security and functionality within the safe and secure environment for ‘new build or replacement’ Crown Court designated cell unit.

• Door framework constructed from 50mm wide rolled hollow steel section with 3.0mm thick steel door skins seam welded
• Mineral wool insulation to all internal voids
• Steel hollow section door frame
• Frame fixings to suit a variety of opening construction
• Door panel mounted within door frame hung on a full height tubular steel pivot hinge
• The frame header is provided with removeable panel to allow access to electrical wiring. (All removeable panels are secured with security screws, tamper proof switches can be supplied and
  fitted and wired by others to monitor plate removal)
• Inundation unit fitted in door panel
• Horizontal laminated glass window with hinged privacy steel cover
• The door panel is prepared for a Home Office Class 1 lock which is mounted on a 10mm thick plate, lock supplied and fitted by Prison Service on site
  

• One coat factory applied high build zinc phosphate primer

• Frame can be modified to suit replacement Victorian cell door installation
• Frame can be cast-in instead of bolt fix
