combining an integral frame with two doors to maximise use of restricted
space. Complies with the HMP standard for Prison Doors and meets
the criteria for maintaining the highest level of security and functionality
within the safe and secure environment of a prison cell unit.
Door leaf constructed from 38mm wide rolled hollow steel section
with 1.6mm thick steel door skins
Mineral wool insulation to all internal voids
Steel hollow section door frame with anti-barricade device
Frame fixed by chemical resin anchors
Door leaf mounted within door frame hung on a full height tubular
steel pivot hinge
Central pressed steel closure panel
Inundation unit fitted in door panel
Rectangular laminated glass window with hinged steel cover
Preparation for Home Office Class 1 lock supplied and fitted
by HMPS on site
One coat factory applied high build zinc phosphate primer
Frame can be modified to suit replacement Victorian cell door
installation
Frame can be cast-in instead of bolt fix
Ligature resisting strips to front face of door, along top and
down leading edge terminating at lock
