CS115: Holding Room Screen

A secure laminated clear glass screen with an integral laminated clear glass door to secure the holding room area whilst allowing the authorities to view the inmates directly from the custody desk / room. Can be used in conjunction with ‘Intelli-glass’ a bespoke system electronically switching the glass from clear to opaque at the touch of a switch (can be remotely operated). Complies with the Police Building Design Guide.

• Door and fixed panels are constructed from 40mm wide steel hollow section leaf sheeted both sides with 3mm thick steel skins, mounted within a 100mm x 60mm rolled hollow section frame
• All glazing is 22.3mm thick toughened laminated glass, the glass retaining frames are only fitted to the corridor side
• The door is hung from a substaintial continuous hinge
• Fixings to suit a variety of opening constructions
• The door is supplied as standard with one recessed pull handle on the outside and a Home Office Type 2 heavy duty mortise deadlock
