A prisoners entrance door, access controlled from
the custody desk with remote locking, complies with the specification
of the Police Buildings Design Guide and meets the criteria for
maintaining the highest level of security and functionality within
the safe and secure environment of a Police Station / Magistrates
Court.
Door is constructed from a solid timber core sheeted both sides
with 1.6mm thick zintec steel skins pressure bonded to core, interlocked
and riveted to give a finished door thickness of 50mm
Door is mounted within a 100mm x 50mm rolled steel channel frame
and hung from a substantial continuous hinge
Frame fixings to suit a variety of opening construction
Supplied as standard with 150mm square, 9.5mm thick laminated
glass window with hinged steel privacy cover
Two flush pull handles
Home Office Type 2 heavy duty mortise deadlock working in conjunction
with a 12V DC electric release fitted in the frame
