CS208: Custody Fire Escape Door

A secure door to the custody area normally locked and used as a means of evacuating the building in the event of a fire.

Complies with the specification of the Police Buildings Design Guide and Courts Standards, meets the criteria for maintaining the highest level of security and functionality within the safe and secure environment of Police Stations and Magistrates Courts.

• Door is constructed from a solid timber core sheeted both sides and all edges with 1.6mm thick zintec steel skins pressure bonded to core, interlocked and riveted to give a finished door thickness of 50mm
• Door is mounted within a 100mm x 50mm rolled steel channel frame and hung from a substantial continuous hinge
• Frame fixings to suit a variety of opening construction
• Supplied as standard with one welded 'D' handle and weather drip bar on outside face of door
• Home Office Type 2 heavy duty mortise deadlock

• One coat factory applied primer

• Rolled steel angle frame or pressed profile frame to suit site conditions
• Propriety door closer
• Electric release in frame (Excluding pressed profile frame)
• Smoke or weather seals
