CS213: C & R Door

A secure ‘Control & Restraint’ door, enables the prison wardens to close and bolt the door shut in a secure area.

Complies with the HMP standard for prison doors.

• Door leaf constructed from 38mm wide rolled hollow steel section with 1.6mm thick steel door skins
• Mineral wool insulation to all internal voids
• Steel hollow section door frame
• Frame fixed by chemical resin anchors
• Door leaf mounted within door frame hung on a full height tubular steel pivot hinge
• One welded D handle, two heavy duty barrel bolts
• Rectangular laminated glass window with lockable hinged steel cover
• Preparation for a Home Office Class 2 heavy duty prison mortise lock supplied and fitted by HMPS on site.
