CS514: Closed Visit Interview Screen

A secure screen with laminated glass and integral table top, allows secure visits to prisoners from solicitors and visitors.

Complies with Police Building Design Guide and Crown Court Standard for maintaining the highest level of security and functionality within a Police Station, Magistrates or Crown Court and Prison.

• Constructed from a double angle frame retaining 11.5mm thick laminated glass
• The screen is bolted to a 3mm thick pressed steel sound / speechbox which incorporates 4mm holes on both sides of the screen with an internal mesh barrier to prevent the passage of contraband
• Visitors side of the screen is provided with hardwood trim
• Fixings to suit a variety of opening constructions with build-in tangs at base of soundbox

  NOTE: The masonry upstand wall below the screen must be built after the installation of the screen.
  

• Hardwood trim to have two coats of water borne varnish
• Steelwork is polyester powder coated black
  

• Intercom system can be provided instead of speech holes
• Header panels can be solid instead of glazed
• "Bolted in situ" in lieu of build in tangs at base (Approval from relevant authority to be obtained)
