CS1410: Detox Service Hatch

A vertical sliding detox hatch designed in conjunction with The Ministry Of Justice and The NHS. Hatch is to be used on cell doors, within prison wings, to allow healthcare to be offered without the need to move prisoners to the hospital wing.

• When closed the inmate has no view
  out of the cell
• In closed position custody officer can raise
  louvre 10mm to give full view of cell without disturbing prisoner
• When open a 330mm wide x 125mm high aperature allows passing of food or medication
• Hatch is opened via single hand operation
  using a key
• Hatch can be locked closed
• Hatch is automatically secured on closing
• Cannot be opened from inside the cell
• Can be fitted to existing cell doors
• All parts can be exchanged within minutes
