The new Home Office approved two position service hatch is of robust construction & designed to give durability, safe operation and low maintenance.

The new two position hatch is a replacement for the former ‘Swivel Top Latch’ design hatch which is no longer approved and is intended to be used on existing cell doors where the standard Full View (3 position) hatch cannot be fitted or is not required.

The new hatch offers a greatly reduced risk of ligature opportunity than previous two position hatch models.

Based on the design of the standard Home Office & Metropolitan Police Full View (3 position) lambeth hatch which has been independently cyclic & impact tested by UKAS for 10 years use.
