CSL0504 Low Level Cell Bench
A low level cell bench historically used for ‘drunken prisoners’
Low level seating is constructed from either 45mm thick Iroko hardwood battens or Corian solid surface material bonded to plywood sheet to give a finished thickness of 38mm.
Supporting steel underframe is constructed from rolled steel channel legs and 3mm thick mild steel pressed panels, fully rebated all around to prevent passage of contraband.
Anti-ligature perforations are supplied within the top panels which is sloped to prevent climbing.
Underside of bench top is protected from heat generated by the heating pipes with a layer of 6mm thick heat resisting fibreboard.
The hinged panels allowing access to the heating pipes are held firmly shut by two security fixings.
Timber bench top, two coats of water borne varnish.
Corian in white. Other colours available.
Steelwork has one coat factory applied high build zinc phosphate primer.
Ash or Maple battens can be supplied.
Corian supplied from a range of standard colours.
Bench can be supplied any length.
