Purpose

• A secure screen with laminated glass and integral acoustic sound box designed specifically for allowing secure visits to prisoners from solicitors and visitors.

Specification

• Constructed from box section frame retaining 11.5mm thick laminated glass.
• The screen is bolted to a 3mm thick pressed steel acoustic sound box which incorporates 2mm holes on both sides of the screen with an internal mesh barrier to prevent the passage of contraband.
• Visitors side of the screen is provided with a hardwood trim.
• Fixings to suit a variety of opening constructions with build-in tangs at base of sound box.

Finish

• Hardwood trim to have two coats of water borne varnish.
• Steelwork is polyester powder coated black.

Available Options

• Header panels can be provided steel or glazed.
• Bolt ‘in-situ’ in lieu of built in tangs at base.
• Polished stainless steel sound box.
