Specification

• Door panels constructed from 38mm wide rolled hollow steel sections with 2mm thick steel door skins seam welded along all edges.
• Mineral wool insulation to all internal voids.
• Cast-in double frame type.
• Steel hollow section door frame with anti-barricade device and central pressed steel closure panel.
• Door panels mounted within door frame and hung on a full height tubular steel pivot hinge.
• Inundation unit.
• Vertical laminated glass vision panel with hinged steel cover.
• Preparation for MoJ Class 1 lock supplied and fitted by HMPS or Private Prison Operator.
• Anti-ligature strips to front face of door, along top and down leading edge terminating at lock.

Finish

• One coat factory applied high build zinc phosphate primer to all mild steel surfaces.
